Can I work for NHS with no experience?
Not necessarily. Despite around 50% of the NHS workforce having a university or other professional qualification, there are lots of opportunities for staff without these qualifications, especially in the wider healthcare team.
What jobs are in NHS shortage?
The latest NHS Digital vacancy statistics show 132,139 vacancies across England on 30 June 2022. For the Registered Nursing staff group alone there was a vacancy rate of 11.8% or 46,828 vacancies. This is an increase from March 2022 when the vacancy rate was 10.3% (38,814 vacancies).
Is working for the NHS worth it?
The NHS is a wonderful organization to work for, every detail is considered, and you are almost babied through the tough times as they care about you in every way. I’m aware we are not well paid, and support for some critical staff is not there, but personally, it’s the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had.
